Melanie Reyes was born in 1986 in the Philippines and was the first in her family to pursue fine art. She started entering artwork competitions in grade school, and it eventually become more than a hobby. Although she studied AP Art for a few years in high school, she is mostly self-taught. Nature subjects are her forte, but she is passionate about honing her skills and achieving better realism. She works mostly in oil but has recently branched out into the world of face and body art. Melanie has traveled to Italy, Japan, and Hawaii but currently lives in Clearwater, Florida. Skies the limit when it comes to the unique designs that she can create.
